Muscle Fatigue
The Muscle Fatigue map estimates how fatigued each muscle is from your recent training sessions and how much it has recovered since. Use it as a quick guide when deciding which muscles may be ready to train again.
The scale runs from Rested on the left to Overtrained on the right. Rested muscles appear gray; stronger colors indicate more accumulated fatigue.
You can find the map on the Home tab. Depending on your layout settings, it can also appear during a workout session.
How HeavyTrack estimates muscle fatigue
Section titled “How HeavyTrack estimates muscle fatigue”The estimate takes into account:
- your completed sets from recent strength-related workouts
- the type and number of sets you performed
- how strongly each exercise involves each muscle
- the recovery time of each muscle and your personal recovery profile
- elapsed time
- available sleep data
Fatigue falls as a muscle recovers. New completed sets and updated sleep data automatically refresh the calculation. You can also tap the refresh button in the top-right corner of the map.
The map is an estimate intended to help plan your training, not a medical measurement.
