App Privacy Policy

Your workout data is yours. Period.

Your workout data, exercise history, and personal records belong to you and are stored locally on your device. You can export them in JSON format at any time.

Your workout data, exercise history, health data, and personal records are never shared with us or any third party. All of this data is stored locally on your device, giving you complete control and privacy.

To help us understand how people use HeavyTrack and improve the app experience, we collect usage analytics through PostHog and Adapty. This includes general information such as which features are used most often, as well as app performance metrics.

This data collection is designed to be analyzed statistically, not to identify you personally. For example, we never ask for your email address.

It is perfectly possible to use the app anonymously.

The app can be personalized with a nickname; we do not ask for your real name.

The only time we ask for an email address is when you submit feedback or a support request so we can get back to you. If you’d rather not tie your email address to your app usage, you can use our support form on the website.

HeavyTrack offers optional CloudKit sync for people who want to access their complete app data across multiple Apple devices. This feature is:

  • Completely optional — You choose whether to enable it.
  • Protected by Apple — CloudKit uses Apple’s secure infrastructure and encryption.
  • Under your control — You can enable or disable sync at any time.
  • Private — Your data can be encrypted end-to-end and is accessible only through your Apple ID.

When CloudKit sync is enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and protected by Apple’s security measures. We do not have access to this data, and it is not shared with any third parties.
