Logical Day

Also called: log day

A logical day is a day as HeavyTrack counts it. It starts at the day cutoff time — 3:30 AM by default — and ends at the same time the next morning, instead of running from midnight to midnight.

Anything you do between midnight and the cutoff therefore still belongs to the previous day. A session that starts at 11 PM and finishes at 1 AM stays on one day rather than being split in two, and a late-night workout does not get pushed onto “tomorrow”.

A workout session is attributed to the logical day on which it ended, not started. If you start a session, pause it because you cannot train after all, and do the actual work the next day, it counts for the day the work happened.

You can change the cutoff time in Settings › Preferences › Day Cutoff Time.
