Glossary
- Deload — A planned easy period that lets the fatigue from weeks of hard training clear.
- Double Progression — Add reps first; add weight once you reach the top of your rep range.
- e1RM — Estimated 1 Rep Max — what it means and where to see it in HeavyTrack.
- Exercise Rating — A personal reminder that also influences exercise selection in the Smart Plan Builder.
- Focus Metric — A metric shown on every set row — what it is and where to set it.
- Logical Day — HeavyTrack's day runs from the cutoff time to the same time next morning — not midnight to midnight.
- Mesocycle — A block of six to twelve microcycles, ending in a deload before the program changes.
- Microcycle — One repetition of your training days — usually a week, but not necessarily.
- PREV Column — The PREV column shows what you did for that set last time — weight × reps.
- Progression Charts — The charts that show how your performance on an exercise changes over time.
- Progressive Overload — Asking a little more of a muscle over time, so it keeps getting stronger.
- RIR — Reps In Reserve — how many more reps you could still have done when you ended the set.
- RPE — Rate of Perceived Exertion — how hard a set felt, from 1 to 10.
- Set Volume — Weight × reps for one set. Total volume adds up every set in the session.
- Training Program — How a training program is structured: training days, exercises, sets and reps.
- Training Split — How you divide your body across the training days of the week.
- Work Set — The main sets of an exercise — done at or near your maximum load.
- Workout Routine — A planned series of exercises, in order, with their sets and settings — one day inside a workout program.
- Workout Set Type — The four kinds of set you can do in a workout: warmup, work, drop and deload.
