Mesocycle
A mesocycle typically consists of six to twelve repetitions of a microcycle.
As the mesocycle progresses you progressively overload. Over the last one or two microcycles, however, you typically deload.
Then you start a new mesocycle that targets different muscles, or the same muscles through a different angle or different exercise.
